From the artist:
"During art theory in school, they give you the Feldman's Approach to analyse all artworks. The third step is called Interpretation. What does the artist convey in painting this? What does the artwork mean? I put that aspect of the Feldman's Approach in the front, for there are many ways you may choose to interpret this.
The drawing is a very simple combination of The Giving Tree and the gross little illustrations around it. God being the tree is a provider and a guide. What surrounds him is dark and slightly disturbing. I was looking at artists like Toshio Saeki and Lucas David while drawing them.
My interpretation of it is that as long as you stay on the right track, "on the tree", things will be all right. If you stray away into the bordeaux, the tree will always be nearby anyway and it's not going to reject you."
