'Kingdom' is one of three paintings that Esther created prior to hearing about Towards the Light. She was new to this medium at the time, and painted as her heart led her. On completion, she felt the colours she used, namely copper, gold and bronze, were representative of kingdoms here on earth. However, as she dwelt on this thought, she realized that in truth, there should be only one Kingdom – God's Kingdom. All earthly kingdoms should be subject to the authority and majesty of our Lord God. Thus she renamed her art 'KINGDOM',
