Finy has created a landscape scene viewed through the shade and foliage of the tree in the foreground. The artist says, "During the hot summers in India, there is nothing more refreshing than the shade of a tree at the far corner of the playing field." Finy employs a technique that involves blurring the fine details in the foreground, that then creates a very realistic effect when the picture is viewed from some distance.
