When Esther gazed upon this completed painting, it looked to her as if many, many cells had gelled together, forced into close proximity. It reminded her of humanity, of how there are so many of us, and how we have to live so close to each other. They seemed to her like a multitude of souls. This painting is the third example of her early work that is on display at Towards the Light.
