The artist went through a very rough journey, featuring aspects of wild living, which brought much grief to loved ones and damaged his own life and health. As he embarks on this journey towards the Light and battles his inner demons, mental confusion and emotional turmoil, he is reminded of God's grace to Saul, who persecuted Jesus and His followers. If Saul could then become Paul, who went on to bring the Good News of Jesus to the then-known world and wrote so many of the New Testament books, surely he, too, has hope.
