This painting on a 3-dimensional coloured glass object depicts a flock of birds approaching in the distant sky on one half of the bowl, while the other half depicts a veritable swirl of sea creatures spiraling towards the centre of the bowl. As it says in Genesis 1:21 ‘So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the water abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw it was good.’
